Vince is a U.S. Navy veteran with more than 30 years of cyber and intelligence experience.  A graduate of the US Naval Academy, Vince’s 21-year career in military operations included cyber warfare, information warfare, and intelligence operations. He conducted Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) activities at the tactical, component, theater, and national levels, in addition to directing ISR operations in support of Joint Special Operations Task Forces (JSOTFs), the U.S. Navy Sixth Fleet, US Central and US European regional Combatant Commands.  He served with multiple national intelligence agencies, including time with the US National Security Agency (NSA) as a Chief of Crises Management and Deployed Support. Throughout his time as a Naval Cryptologist, he deployed eight times, including three Law Enforcement Operations tours in the Caribbean, combat operations in the first Gulf War, Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as Bosnia, Kosovo, and elsewhere.  

Following his diverse career in military operations, Vince joined Oklahoma State University’s Multispectral Laboratory (UML) as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Director of C5ISR. Vince then held positions with P&G as their global leader of Cyber Incident Response and Threat Intelligence, served as a Director in PWC's Cybersecurity and Privacy practice, and led their National Cyber Threat Intelligence Organization.  Most recently he served as the Executive Director of SENTIR Research Laboratory and Chief Security Officer of Solutions Through Innovative Technologies (STI-TEC). ​

Vince founded DCG with the aim of supporting the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) throughout the implementation of the new Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). As a veteran and small business owner himself, Vince's mission is to provide thorough, cost-effective consulting throughout the DIB's ongoing compliance journey with high integrity.  He is a CMMC Certified Lead Assessor (LCCA), CMMC instructor for both Certified Professional and Certified Assessor, co-author of the CMMC Scoping Guide, and co-author of CCA and CCP training handbooks.  He sits on the C3PAO Forum, the CMMC Assessment Process committee, the DoD Small Business Cyber Working Group, is a member of the board for the University of Tulsa Tandy School of Computer Science, is the FBI Infragard deputy for the Defense Industrial Base Sector, and is their Subject Matter Expert on Cyber Warfare.
